Serves 8
3 eggs
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons nutmeg
2 1/2 cups flour
3 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and chopped
1 cup black walnuts, chopped
1/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cups milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease and flour a bundt cake pan.  In a large mixing bowl, blend eggs, oil, nutmeg and sugar.  Mix until creamy.  Add flour, a little at a time, blend well.  Fold in apples and nuts.  Pour mixture into bundt cake pan.  Bake for 30 minutes.  Remove from oven.   With a wooden skewer, punch holes in top of cake.  In a saucepan, blend together margarine, brown sugar and milk.  Bring mixture to a boil.  Remove from heat and pour topping over cake.  Brush sides of cake with the topping mixture also.  Pour topping over cake.  Return cake to oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes.  Let cake cool completely before serving.
