8 ounce macaroni
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoon flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Season with salt. Add macaroni. Stir. Cook until tender, about 7 minutes. Drain and set aside. In saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Stir in flour and continue stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Stir in salt and pepper. Gradually add in milk, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick. Add cheese and stir until cheese is melted. Add cooked macaroni and mix well. Pour mixture into a 8 x 10 baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve.
