1 1/2 pounds ground beef1/2 teas. salt
3/4 cups breadcrumbs 1/2 grated onions
1/2 cup beef stock 2 tabls. olive oil
2 tabls. flour 1 (12.5 oz.) beef stock
salt and pepper,to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, bread crumbs, grated onions and beef stock. Mix well, forming mixture into a large ball or four balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cook for approximately 30 minutes. While salsbury steak is cooking, in a saucepan, create a roux by combining the olive oil and flour, stirring constantly until oil is absorbed. Slowly add the beef stock and season with salt and pepper. Continue cooking until sauce is thickened. Remove steak and place on serving platter. Pour sauce over staek and serve.
